Braszilian composer, Rodrigo LIMA was born in 1976 in Guarulhos-São Paulo. Obtained in 2005 his Bachelor in Musical Composition Degree at the Department of Music - University of Brasilia. In 2009 Lima received his Masters in Composition at the Art Institute of the ‘Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP)'.
He studied composition with Estércio Marquez, Sergio Nogueira, Silvio Ferraz and electro-acoustic music with Conrado Silva. Additional lessons and masterclasses with Emmanuel Nunes, Stefano Gervasoni and Claude Ledoux. Also developed a broad experience in Jazz and brazilian music performance as a drummer for more than 12 years.
His compositions have been prized, recorded, and released in contemporary music concerts and festivals in Brazil, Chile, France, Germany, Mexico, USA, Spain, such as the:

Rodrigo Lima is teacher of composition at the 'EMESP Tom Jobim' - School of Music of São Paulo State (São Paulo, Brazil).
Lima became a member of the General Society of Authors and Editors ‘Sociedade General de Autores y Editores (SGAE)' in Spain.
